Today we started our photo editing for our poster. We selected this photo of our main characters eye and surrounding eye area. This has good continuity for the rest of the trailer as this was the makeup used. Makeup was used to create this effect of a gritty dirty
To create the blur effect I used the blur function and blurred the eye area and sharpened the outside area of the eye to create contrast.
We wanted to create a different colour for the pupil so i used the black and white filter option with the paintbrush so we can highlight a certain area.
iPiccy is very simple to use and is effective for editing photos. We experimented with photoshop but it was very complicated to use for untrained people. also it was not effective for what we wanted to achieve.
Above is our saved final draft, we are going to edit this further and edit it onto our poster, we need to think more about how the poster will look so it is effective for the consumers.
